Plant Operator

About the role

We are seeking a permanent, full‑time Plant Operator to join our team at the Wetherill Park recycling and quarry site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of both mobile and fixed plant equipment, supporting our production of stone, gravel and sand.

Key responsibilities

• Operate front‑end loaders, haul trucks, excavators and dump trucks safely on site.
• Run the crushing plant in accordance with operational procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep the plant area clean and orderly.
• Participate in problem‑solving, continuous‑improvement and safety initiatives such as pre‑starts and toolbox talks.
• Report incidents and contribute to safety documentation.

Required profile

• Experience operating mobile plant equipment; front‑end loader experience is desirable.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Self‑motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
