Picker Labourer – Concrete Recycling Plant

About the role

Join Alex Fraser at the Nudgee Recycling Facility and help turn construction rubble into high‑grade civil materials. This full‑time picker labourer position works on a concrete recycling plant, supporting both safety and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Stand near a moving conveyor belt and pick material in a small hut.
• Perform routine plant maintenance such as greasing rollers, changing screens, and general housekeeping using shovels and brooms.
• Participate actively in daily toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to work morning shifts and occasional weekends.
• Good mechanical aptitude with quick hands.
• Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, high‑visibility clothing).
• Own reliable transport and interest in a long‑term role.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical maintenance skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
