Physiotherapy Graduate Program – Melbourne & Brisbane

About the role

The 2027 Physiotherapy Graduate Program is a 12‑month structured pathway designed to develop newly qualified physiotherapists into confident, independent practitioners. The program operates in community settings across Melbourne and Brisbane, delivering services to clients funded through government home‑care schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments to clients receiving Support at Home, Short Term Restorative Care, and Commonwealth Home Support Program funding.
• Apply clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practice in all patient interactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, including allied health professionals and care advisers from leading Australian organisations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing processes and updating the team wiki with best‑practice information.
• Develop and deliver training and educational materials for partner organisations.

Required profile

• Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration by program start.
• Evidence of COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and regular access to a car.
• Positive attitude, strong desire to make a difference, and willingness to work in either Melbourne or Brisbane.
