Physiotherapist Lead - VR & AR Rehabilitation Programs

About the role

A private VR and AR specialist allied health company in Waratah, Newcastle, is looking for a Physiotherapist Lead to design rehabilitation programs that combine AR and VR modules, traditional therapies and game-based activities. The role is in-clinic and hybrid, split between 20 hours of clinical physiotherapy and 12 hours leading a team of six physiotherapists. It suits AHPRA-accredited physiotherapists with strong clinical experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design dynamic rehab programs tailored to each client's sense of engagement, fun and neuroplasticity, combining VR and AR with evidence-based clinical practice and game-based activities.
• Manage and lead a team of six physiotherapists, including clinical oversight and customer relationship management.
• Work with the C-suite to design new programs for clients.
• Work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and speech pathologists, and receive mentorship from subject matter experts in VR neuro.

Required profile

• AHPRA-accredited physiotherapist with strong clinical experience.
• Ability to handle a lively, humorous workplace on a daily basis.
• Flexible start date; full-time or part-time arrangement.
