Physiotherapist – Launceston

About the role

Amplar Health, part of the Medibank Group, is looking for an experienced or new graduate Physiotherapist to join its Amplar Local team in Launceston, in a permanent part-time or full-time position. The role supports people to stay active and independent in their everyday lives, working with clients in the community and in residential aged care facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Private services: supporting individuals with self-identified needs
• Rehab in the home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery
• Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries
• Home Care Package clients: supporting people who want to remain independent at home
• Residential aged care facilities: developing, implementing and managing group and 1:1 exercise programs

Required profile

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
• Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
• A passion for helping people improve their mobility, confidence and quality of life
• Comfortable working autonomously in the community within a supportive team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
