Physical Education Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join its team from Term 3, 2026. This full‑time, ongoing appointment will involve delivering a comprehensive PE curriculum to students from early years through Year 12 in a Catholic, co‑educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess physical education lessons across all year levels.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular sport events and competitions.
• Maintain equipment, facilities and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate cross‑curricular initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration to teach in Australia.
• Experience teaching physical education in a school setting is desirable.
• Commitment to the school’s Catholic values and inclusive ethos.

Required skills

• Ability to design age‑appropriate PE programs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of a range of sports and fitness activities.
