Pharmacist (Trainee Prescriber Scholarship)

About the role

Manly Corso Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist who will train as a prescriber under a scholarship program. The role combines traditional pharmacy duties with advanced prescribing responsibilities, supporting patients across a range of chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional advice, dispense medications, and counsel patients on proper use.
• Manage prescription workflows and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support patients with chronic disease management, including medication reviews.
• Undertake a full scholarship to complete prescribing qualifications at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
• Participate in vaccination services and specialised prescribing (UTI, dermatology, OCP continuation).

Required profile

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with willingness to obtain accredited prescriber status.
• Strong clinical knowledge of medication management and chronic disease support.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for diverse community interactions.
• Attention to detail, organisational ability, and commitment to continuous professional development.
