Pharmacist Team Lead – SDPR Readiness & Implementation

About the role

This temporary full‑time Grade 3 Pharmacist position will lead the Royal North Shore Hospital Pharmacy Department’s preparation for the November 2026 go‑live of the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR). You will partner with pharmacy leadership, Digital Health Services and state‑wide stakeholders to shape future‑state digital medication management workflows and ensure a safe, successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate department readiness activities for the SDPR implementation.
• Collaborate with RNSH Director of Pharmacy, Digital Health teams and external partners to define future‑state workflows.
• Support change‑management initiatives, including training and communication for pharmacy staff.
• Monitor and mitigate risks to ensure a safe transition to digital medication management.
• Provide ongoing reporting and feedback to state‑wide stakeholders throughout the implementation period.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist (Grade 3) with experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading digital health or pharmacy transformation projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.

Required skills

• Understanding of the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) system.
• Familiarity with digital medication management workflows.
