Pharmacist Grade 1/2 – Permanent Full‑Time

About the role

Join the 70‑strong Pharmacy Department at John Hunter Hospital in a permanent full‑time position. You will work across clinical and operational services, contributing to sterile production, antimicrobial stewardship, clinical trials and services to the Rankin Park campus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy services across clinical and operational areas, including sterile compounding and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Participate in weekend, after‑hours, public holiday and on‑call rosters as required.
• Support clinical trials and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with AHPRA, no conditions on registration.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy or strong community pharmacy background with willingness to develop hospital skills.
• Ability to meet Grade 2 criteria under the Health Employees’ Pharmacists (State) Award.
