About the role

We are seeking a full‑time pharmacist to join the supportive team at Slade Pharmacy Kings Meadows in Launceston, Tasmania on a fixed‑term contract until 30 October 2026. The role is ideal for pharmacists who want to make a genuine difference in their local community, moving beyond the dispensary to provide personalised care and health advice.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers, offering expert support and guidance.
• Educate and advise on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and proper medicine use.
• Prepare prescriptions quickly and accurately to ensure a seamless experience.
• Provide evidence‑based medication counselling for prescription and over‑the‑counter products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local health professionals.

Required profile

• Australian working rights for the contract duration.
• Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a pharmacist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with doctors and customers.
• Both newly registered and experienced pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
• Vaccination accreditation is desirable.
