About the role

Estia Health Oakleigh East is looking for experienced carers to work as Personal Care Worker - Wellbeing (Lifestyle Assistant) on a casual/part-time basis. The role delivers engaging, fun and varied activities so residents have their best day every day, and gives personal care and emotional support so residents feel valued, safe and connected.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, fun and varied activities that keep residents motivated and happy
• Give personal care and emotional support to residents
• Help residents maintain strong social connections within the home
• Learn each resident's personal interests and find activities that suit them

Required profile

• Experienced carer
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks at once
• Passion for building genuine relationships and seeing residents enjoy themselves
• Team player with a warm, welcoming approach
