Personal Care Attendant (PCA/PCW) - Ringwood

About the role

Estia Health Ringwood, a home within the Waldreas Retirement Village offering quality care to the local community, is looking for experienced Personal Care Attendants/Workers (PCAs/PCWs) to join its team on a permanent part-time or casual basis. The home is opposite Ringwood Golf Club, close to shops and community services, and 1.5 km from Knox Private Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Lend a hand with daily life so residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed
• Support residents with challenging needs together with the team
• Help keep residents' bodies and minds active
• Help monitor residents' health and assist with treatments
• Be a friend to residents and respect everyone's privacy and dignity

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
• Experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
