Personal Care Assistant

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Arundel is looking for a Personal Care Assistant to partner with residents and support their daily routine, personal care needs, lifestyle and choices. You will work as part of a supportive, dedicated team, helping residents feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. The role sits within the Heartprint model of compassionate, person-centred care.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualification (essential)
• 6 months or more of experience in a similar role; residential aged care experience highly regarded
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) under 6 months old, if already held
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required

Required skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) and the ability to keep excellent records
• Understanding of aged care, resident rights and responsibilities, and the ability to follow the care plan
