Personal Care Assistant (Casual) - Wheelers Hill, Emerald and Chelsea

About the role

Lifeview Homes, an award-winning, Rainbow Tick accredited aged care provider, is seeking weekday and weekend Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to work across its Lifeview Homes in the south-eastern Melbourne suburbs of Wheelers Hill, Emerald and Chelsea. The positions are casual, reporting to the Residential Manager, and suit AM, PM and night shift workers. The organisation describes itself as friendly, progressive and professional, focused on the quality of life of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the team to build collaborative relationships and prioritise tasks.
• Provide personal care to residents in a caring, can-do manner.
• Document accurately using good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be flexible to work a range of shifts (AM, PM and night weekdays and weekends).
• Commit to the orientation program and any other training required by the position.

Required profile

• Cert III in Individual Support or similar qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to engage with residents and a compassionate attitude.
• Willingness to be multiskilled and open-minded.
• Outcome-driven, with exceptional time management and attention to detail.
• Passion for aged care.
