People & Culture Business Partner

About the role

Arc'teryx is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to embed HR expertise within its retail business across Australia and New Zealand, working directly with store leaders and teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Retail leadership to design and deliver people strategies that drive business performance and growth.
• Coach and challenge leaders on performance, talent, succession, recognition, development, workforce planning and organisational design.
• Lead employee relations matters, providing sound judgement and ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements.
• Champion P&C programs such as performance reviews, employee engagement and talent reviews, using data to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and processes to support reporting and compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in retail, hospitality or fast‑paced customer‑focused environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link people priorities to business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels.
• Proven employee relations expertise and knowledge of Australian employment legislation and the Fair Work framework.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data for decision‑making.
