Payroll Officer

About the role

Veolia ANZ is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join its People & Safety team. You will process payroll for Veolia Australia and New Zealand in line with VANZ policies and procedures. The position is permanent and full-time, based at the national head office in Southbank.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the employee masterfile by updating information for new hires, terminations, transfers and changes in pay details
• Coordinate and process monthly and weekly payrolls
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procedures
• Support the payroll team and keep data accurate
• Stay up to date on payroll regulations and process termination payments accurately

Required profile

• 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience
• Familiarity with payroll-related legislation and requirements
• Attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve payroll and system issues

Required skills

• Payroll systems experience (SAP SuccessFactors, ECP preferred; knowledge of Kronos)
