Payroll Officer - Full Time

About the role

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Payroll Officer to support accurate and timely payroll services across its organisation. The role suits someone early in their payroll, administration, finance or customer service career who enjoys working with numbers and wants to develop in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the payroll team to assist with the end-to-end payroll function so employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Maintain payroll records.
• Respond to employee enquiries.
• Support a range of payroll-related administrative processes.

Required profile

• A strong willingness to learn and develop a career in payroll; previous payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Driven, proactive and motivated, with a genuine desire to help people and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and good organisational skills for managing competing priorities.
• An aptitude for working with numbers and data.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
