Payments & Master Data Analyst

About the role

JBS Australia, Australia's largest food processing company, is hiring a Master Data Officer within its Head Office Corporate Accounting team. The role safeguards vendor and customer master data, keeping it accurate and integrated between source systems and the SAP S/4HANA accounting platform. Over the next three years, it will support new system implementations, data migration and the automation of finance operations, while supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Corporate Accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Review requests for new vendor, customer and material set-up in SAP, checking completeness and management approval
• Process new vendor, customer and material set-ups in SAP on time
• Monitor and maintain interfaces between source systems and SAP (S/4HANA)
• Take part in system integration projects and support data migration, mapping and validation
• Maintain billing databases and collate expenses linked to complex invoicing
• Work with AP, AR and Corporate Accounting teams to resolve data issues and improve processes
• Uphold data governance and internal controls, and take part in monthly vendor statement reconciliations

Required profile

• Motivated, analytical thinker who refines processes and works well under strict deadlines
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a small team
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable, preferably in a corporate environment, is desirable

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for database management and manipulation
• Experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) is desirable
