Participation Manager

About the role

Queensland Touch Football is seeking a dynamic Participation Manager to lead the growth of touch football across the state. Reporting to the Pathways and Performance Manager, you will drive participation initiatives, build relationships with affiliates, schools and communities, and oversee a Game Development team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and track annual participation plans and individual work plans.
• Lead and support a team to achieve participation growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional affiliates, schools and community groups.
• Analyse participation data, prepare reports and inform decision‑making.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient program delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in sport management or development.
• Relevant degree in Sports Management, Business, Human Movement, Coaching, Exercise or Sports Science.
• Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check and a valid driver’s licence.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver and evaluate participation programs.
• Experience leading staff or teams and managing budgets.

• Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities.
