Part-Time Warehouse / Assembler

About the role

A family-run fencing business with two branches across Western Australia supplies and installs fencing products for retail customers and installation projects. It is recruiting a part-time Warehouse / Assembler for its Balcatta team, working 2-3 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role suits people looking for regular hours around their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack fencing products
• Prepare orders for customers and installers
• Assist with the assembly of fencing products
• Use hand and power tools
• Perform general warehouse duties and keep the yard organised
• Load and move products around the warehouse
• Follow safe manual handling practices

Required profile

• Reliable, physically fit and willing to get stuck in
• Ideally previous warehouse, labouring, assembly or similar experience
• Own car and current driver's licence
• Full working rights in Australia; no Working Holiday Visas
• University students are encouraged to apply

Required skills

• Forklift licence (highly desirable)
• Confidence using hand and power tools

What we offer

• $35.00 per hour plus penalties for hours worked over 8 hours per day
• 2-3 days per week, 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Ongoing work for the right person
