Part-Time Veterinary Associate

About the role

Greencross Hornsby is seeking a part-time veterinarian for its modern, well-appointed clinic on the mezzanine level of Petbarn in Sydney's Upper North Shore. The position is permanent and part-time, 1-2 days per week, with Saturday availability preferred. It suits a vet who wants consistent hours, whether balancing family commitments, returning to practice or seeking a sustainable workload.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general practice consultations and case workups
• Perform routine surgery, or develop surgical confidence with support
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Work collaboratively in a structured, supportive environment

Required profile

• Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC)
• Or completion of NAVLE, AVE or similar examinations
• Comfortable consulting and seeking a stable, well-supported part-time opportunity
