Part-Time Pharmacy Student, Sunday Shifts

About the role

Slade Pharmacy at Mater Hospital North Sydney is looking for pharmacy students to join its team on a permanent part-time basis, 10 hours per fortnight, every Sunday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. The role suits students who want hands-on hospital pharmacy experience and a pathway toward pharmacist internship opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
• Deliver medications to hospital wards
• Manage inventory
• Process sales transactions and help with account queries
• Assist in the safe and accurate supply of medications to patients and clinical staff
• Support patients, carers and hospital staff

Required profile

• Year 2 to 4 pharmacy student enrolled in an Australian university pharmacy degree in 2027
• Valid Australian working rights for at least 12 months from start date
• Commitment to work the advertised weekend shifts
• Professional, confidential and patient-focused approach; able to work independently and in a team

Required skills

• Dispensing experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy is desirable
