Part-Time Nanny, Kalinga

About the role

A family in Kalinga, Brisbane North, is looking for a professional, nurturing nanny to provide one-on-one care for a baby. The role is permanent and part-time, Monday to Wednesday, 7.30am to 5.30pm (30 hours per week), starting late January 2027. The main focus is the baby, with school drop-off and pick-up for his older sister. The family has a garden and pool, a French bulldog and two cats.

Key responsibilities

• Sole-charge care of a baby
• Feeding, sleep and daily routines
• School drop-off and pick-up for a 5-year-old
• Homework supervision
• Play-based learning, pram walks, park and café outings, and taking children to social activities
• Basic meal preparation for the children
• Children's laundry and light child-related household duties

Required profile

• Proven professional childcare experience
• Recent experience caring for babies and toddlers
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• National Police Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Own reliable car and current driver's licence, with a Traffic History Report
• Verifiable, recent references
• Warm, calm and confident, with a record of staying long term with families

Required skills

• Early childhood qualification (Cert III or Diploma) desirable
• Experience managing children's food allergies desirable
• Confidence with pool and water safety desirable
