Part-Time General Dentist - Split Schedule

About the role

A well-established dental practice in the Newcastle region is looking for a confident, motivated General Dentist to join its team on a part-time basis, working a split schedule across the week. The clinic has a strong reputation in the local community, a modern practice with contemporary facilities and experienced clinical and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of general dental treatments, including examinations, preventative care, scale and cleans, composite restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, teeth whitening, emergency dentistry and cosmetic restorative procedures where appropriate.
• Manage your own patients with clinical autonomy, supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team.
• Step into busy appointment books from the outset.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a dentist.
• At least two years of Australian clinical experience.
• Confident across general, preventative and restorative dentistry.
• Strong communication and patient management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Genuine passion for patient-centred care and commitment to ongoing professional development.
