Part-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

ibis Styles Mount Isa is looking for a part-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead Giuseppe's Cantina, its Italian-inspired restaurant. The role combines hands-on service with planning and coordination, so that both everyday dining and special functions run smoothly. It suits someone who enjoys leading busy restaurant service and bringing events to life.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the General Manager and kitchen team to lead restaurant and bar service, giving clear direction and support to the team.
• Coordinate functions and events, from enquiries and planning through to delivery.
• Prepare and maintain banquet event orders, organise invoices and deposits, and share event details across departments.
• Work with the kitchen to manage the pace of service and communicate dietary requirements accurately.
• Handle guest enquiries and feedback with confidence and care.
• Train team members and oversee opening, closing and service preparation.
• Maintain food safety and responsible service of alcohol standards.

Required profile

• Restaurant or bar supervisory experience, plus experience coordinating functions or events.
• Organised, approachable and comfortable making decisions during a busy service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A current RSA valid in Queensland.

• Sound understanding of food safety and dietary requirements.
