Paediatric Occupational Therapist

About the role

A Canberra-based paediatric clinic with a strong reputation among local families and schools is looking for a paediatric occupational therapist. The clinic is known for a consistent, relationship-focused approach and is not a high-turnover environment. The therapist steps into an established caseload working with children across early intervention and school-aged support, covering developmental delays, sensory processing, emotional regulation and functional skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver therapy sessions that are a mix of clinic-based work and community work (schools, homes), depending on what is most beneficial for the child.
• Work with children presenting with developmental delays, sensory processing, emotional regulation and functional skill needs.
• Collaborate closely with families, educators and support networks.

Required profile

• AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist (or eligible).
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging approach.
• Open to clinic and community-based work.
