Outside of School Hours Care Educator – Meaningful Work with Kids

About the role

Join Junior Adventures Group to deliver Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) services across Melbourne. You will use your sport, fitness or recreation background to create a safe, inclusive environment where children aged 5‑12 can learn, play and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead active games, sports programs and creative activities that promote physical and social development.
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour and inclusive participation.
• Build trusted relationships with children, parents and schools.
• Collaborate with a team to design and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate programs.

Required profile

• Experience in fitness, recreation, sports development or management.
• Passion for working with children aged 5‑12 through play and conversation.
• Relevant qualification (e.g., Diploma in Fitness/Recreation/Leadership, Bachelor of Physical Education, Sport Science, etc.).
