Outpatient Chemotherapy Registered Nurse

About the role

The Mater Hospital in North Sydney is recruiting a permanent full-time Outpatient Chemotherapy Registered Nurse for its Cancer Services, based at the Patricia Ritchie Centre. The role ensures the clinical care of patients is person-centred and delivered within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse, in line with the hospital's policies and procedures and the philosophy of St Vincent's Health Australia. Shifts are Monday to Friday during daytime hours.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Experience within Oncology and/or Haematology.
• Competence in the safe administration of antineoplastics, or willingness to learn.
• Sound knowledge of Department of Health guidelines and regulations, workplace health and safety and infection control.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or an Australia visa granting the necessary work rights; visa sponsorship is not available.
