Outbound Sales Consultant

About the role

A large, established national organisation is looking for a confident Outbound Sales Consultant to join its high-performing Norwest team. You will connect with prospective business customers, uncover opportunities, qualify leads and secure appointments for the wider sales team. The role is fully office-based, five days per week, with Monday to Friday hours.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective business customers and generate and qualify new sales leads
• Build rapport quickly and confidently over the phone, asking the right questions to uncover customer needs
• Book quality appointments for Sales Executives and coordinate them by location and sales priorities
• Manage follow-ups and keep opportunities moving
• Research prospective customers and target markets
• Maintain accurate information in the CRM and work towards individual and team KPIs

Required profile

• Previous outbound calling, telesales or telemarketing experience
• Confidence speaking with business customers and resilience when the first answer is no
• Experience working towards KPIs and activity targets
• Availability to work onsite in Norwest five days per week

Required skills

• Strong communication and objection handling skills
• Good CRM and administration skills
• Natural ability to build rapport and influence outcomes
