OSHC Coordinator – Step-Up Opportunity, Berwick

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is recruiting an OSHC Coordinator for a permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) based at Beaconsfield Primary School in the Berwick region of Melbourne. The service supports 45 to 70 children each day and focuses on sustainability and outdoor learning. The role suits an experienced Educator or Assistant Coordinator who wants to move into leadership, mentoring Educators and building operational expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Educators
• Help manage daily service operations
• Build confidence in rostering, administration and compliance
• Create engaging programs across sport, STEM, wellbeing, cooking and creative arts
• Build strong relationships with children, families and school staff
• Drive a positive and inclusive team culture

Required profile

• Experience in OSHC, education or children's services
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• National police check (paid by the employer) and state working-with-children check
• Australian working rights
• Completed National Child Safety Training before onboarding (via Gecko)
• VIC Diploma-level qualification or working towards it, in line with ACECQA
