OSHC Casual Educator (Mobile) - Gosnells

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting a mobile OSHC casual educator for its Gosnells area centre. The role supports primary school children through play in fun, engaging environments and suits university students, teachers' aides, parents or anyone needing midday flexibility. It is a relief position with a split-shift model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide before-school care (generally 6:00am-9:00am) and after-school care (2:00pm-6:00pm) for primary school children.
• Work Monday to Friday, with additional hours possible during school holidays.
• Meet the minimum requirement of 3 afternoons per week.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Availability for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.
• Team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (paid by JAG).
• State working-with-children check.
• Australian working rights.
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko).
• A formal qualification is not required, but candidates working towards an ACECQA-recognised qualification such as WA First Qualified Educator or WA Qualified Educator are highly regarded.
