OSHC Assistant Coordinator (Butler Area)

About the role

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is recruiting an Assistant Coordinator for its OSHClub service in the Butler area, which runs outside-school-hours care for primary school-aged children. This is a permanent part-time position of 17 hours per week, split across Monday to Friday programs, with support and training provided to help you build leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Help lead and mentor a team of Educators working onsite
• Support the day-to-day running of the service and deliver engaging programs for children
• Build confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance and administration
• Create child-led programs such as STEM, cooking, sport, art and craft activities
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community

Required profile

• A completed relevant ACECQA-recognised qualification, including a WA First Qualified Educator qualification
• A completed national police check (paid by the employer)
• An Australian working-with-children check
• Australian working rights
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko)

• Pay of up to $42 per hour including allowances and super
• Split shifts (6:30am-8:30am and 2:15pm-5:00pm) with possible extra hours during school holidays
