Organisational Effectiveness Lead

About the role

The Australian Football League (AFL) has created a new Organisational Effectiveness Lead role in Melbourne, reporting to the Executive General Manager People. The role leads the design and delivery of people initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, workforce performance and employee experience, combining big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery across a broad organisational development portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic workforce planning and organisational capability
• Drive future of work and ways of working initiatives
• Develop the culture and engagement strategy
• Enhance the performance framework
• Run organisation-wide people projects and change initiatives
• Contribute to the development and execution of the AFL People Plan

Required profile

• Experienced Organisational Development, Organisational Effectiveness or People professional
• Experience leading workforce planning, culture, performance or organisational effectiveness initiatives
• Strong project and change leadership capability
• Commercial acumen and strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Resilience, adaptability and personal accountability
