Operations Transformation Manager

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring an Operations Transformation Manager in Brisbane, working in the Advisory line of service. The role leads large-scale operations transformation programs that optimise operations, improve efficiency and drive sustainable business transformation, with an industry focus on the Energy, Utilities and Mining practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale operations transformation programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders on scope, milestones and success metrics
• Conduct diagnostics through process analysis, formulate insights and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Design and implement operating models, define client strategies and process improvement initiatives
• Craft client-ready deliverables and presentations
• Manage day-to-day project operations across multiple workstreams
• Lead, coach and develop team members, assign work and provide feedback
• Partner with stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, statements of work and pitch materials
• Drive change management and adoption, including stakeholder engagement, communications and post-implementation support

Required profile

• Demonstrated background in consulting, continuous improvement or project delivery, ideally in mining, energy, utilities or resources
• Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programs for major clients from strategy through to implementation
• Trusted advisor mindset, able to influence senior stakeholders
• People leadership experience, including coaching, performance management and team coordination
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
