About the role
Amazon is seeking an Operations Shift Manager for its AMZL Exchange Point in Heathwood, QLD. You will lead a team of associates, ensuring safety, quality, attendance and performance while meeting customer delivery expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and motivate a sizable hourly workforce.
- Maintain and promote Health & Safety standards on‑site.
- Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and HR to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
- Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching varying weights, and stand or walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
Required profile
- Experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Proven managerial experience with large teams.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, including Dive Deep analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
