Operations Manager – Travel (Sydney)

About the role

Join an award‑winning inbound travel company as an Operations Manager, leading the Sydney‑based tour operations team. You will combine strong people‑management abilities with extensive tour‑operations experience to drive service excellence and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and train the operations team, including FIT and group consultants.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Provide high‑level support during significant operational issues.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve financial targets and company growth.
• Liaise with internal product, sales and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the travel industry, preferably with an inbound tour operator or wholesale travel sector.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Proven people‑management experience.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
