Operations Manager & Executive Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager & Executive Assistant to support the founder of Bungalow Collective across its three Sydney venues. The role blends operational oversight with high‑level executive support, requiring a hands‑on, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑moving hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations for House of Bungalow, The Bungalow Petersham and The Serenity Bungalow, ensuring compliance with employment law, licensing and insurance requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, purchase orders and vendor contracts, and maintain accurate SOPs and internal documentation.
• Process payroll and leave management through QuickBooks and coordinate with external advisors such as accountants and legal counsel.
• Administer the founder’s calendar, draft correspondence, prepare briefing documents and act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders.
• Support recruitment activities, from writing job descriptions to onboarding new team members.
• Travel between venues as needed and work Saturdays in line with business demands.

Required profile

• Exceptionally organized with a strong commercial mindset.
• Passionate about hospitality and capable of representing a premium brand.
• Comfortable juggling operational, administrative and people‑focused tasks.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can anticipate issues before they arise.
