About the role
A global Australian open pit hard rock producer with a large flagship operation in north-west Western Australia is looking for an experienced Production Engineer, due to internal promotions. The role reports to the Senior Mining Engineer and suits someone who wants to grow with a business that has substantial expansion plans.
Key responsibilities
- Produce the short-term mine schedule, production plans and reporting
- Develop open pit mine designs, including waste dumps, haul roads and ROM stockpiles
- Develop the daily and 2-weekly mine plan and schedules
- Generate daily reports
Required profile
- Proven open pit hard rock experience
- Completed the work experience required for the WA Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency
- Growth-focused, driven professional able to think on their feet in a changing environment
Required skills
- Experience using Alastri
