OOSH Assistant / Educator and Responsible Person

About the role

St Nicholas is seeking a qualified OOSH Assistant / Educator and Responsible Person to join its well-established service in Kilaben Bay. The role is permanent and part-time, working across before and after school programs and vacation care programs for children aged 5 to 12 years. You will be an active member of a team providing high-quality childhood education and care.

Required profile

• Experience in an OOSH service
• Certificate III in Children's Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority, or be studying towards an early childhood or primary teaching qualification
• Working with Children Check verification number
• Current First Aid certificate; Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training and Food Handler Basics training are desirable

Required skills

• Computer literacy to document learning stories
• Ability to work as part of a team delivering quality education and care
