Onsite Desktop Support Technician (12‑Month Term)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, with a hybrid work model (2 days remote per week). You will join Fujifilm’s ICT Division to provide onsite desktop support, ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues and delivering excellent customer service to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve end‑user hardware and software issues onsite, prioritising based on business impact.
• Travel to metropolitan sites as required and support large‑scale hardware refresh projects, preparing devices for new starters.
• Escalate complex problems to specialised teams and collaborate for timely resolution.
• Provide audio‑visual support for Town Halls, department meetings and conferencing tools such as MS Teams and Zoom.
• Maintain clear communication with users, ensure data privacy and offer guidance to prevent future incidents.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in Level 2‑3 desktop support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 11.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services and internal business applications.
• Proficiency with Dell, HP and Lenovo desktop/laptop hardware.
• Ability to configure Intune and Microsoft applications on Android and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra.
