Occupational Therapist - Toowoomba

About the role

Amplar Health, the unified health services brand of Medibank, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join its team in Toowoomba. The role empowers clients to live independently and achieve their goals through personalised, community-based care. It is a permanent position with flexible part-time or full-time options, covering the surrounding region with travel of up to one hour, including areas such as Warwick and Dalby.

Key responsibilities

• Provide client-centred occupational therapy services to Support at Home and Home Care Package clients, including home assessments, equipment prescription and home modifications
• Support recovery through the Rehab in the Home (RITH) program, including post-orthopaedic surgery care
• Assist clients following hospital discharge via the After Hospital Home Care (AHHC)
• Deliver community-based care with travel of up to one hour, including Warwick and Dalby

Required profile

• A compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in the community
• A client-centred approach focused on promoting health, independence and wellbeing
• Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in community or aged care is highly regarded, but new graduates are welcome to apply
