Occupational Therapist - Mental Health Recovery

About the role

Albury Wodonga Health is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for its newly created Mental Health Recovery position at The Willows Community Care Unit in Beechworth, Victoria. You will join an established multidisciplinary team and support individuals living with mental illness as they work towards their independent living goals, within a collaborative, recovery-oriented framework.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of clinical practice, including comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Support clients in achieving their independent living goals
• Take part in preventative initiatives and early intervention programs
• Deliver a range of treatment modalities tailored to each client's needs

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Experience in mental health settings or a strong interest in them
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for working alongside health professionals, families and carers to deliver person-centred care
