Occupational Therapist – Home Care

About the role

BaptistCare, one of Australia’s largest home‑care providers, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its Canberra team. You will deliver evidence‑based assessments and interventions to older clients under aged‑care funding, focusing on reablement and restorative care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualized programs for aged‑care clients in the community.
• Provide interventions that support independent living, mobility, and confidence for older Australians staying at home.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Post‑graduate experience in aged‑care, rehabilitation or community settings.
• Understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance.
