Occupational Therapist - Graduate Program 2027

About the role

AIM Therapy for Children is looking for a newly graduated or soon-to-graduate Occupational Therapist to join its 2027 graduate program. The role suits someone ready to make a difference to children and families but who needs support in their first years of practice. Graduates receive structured supervision, hands-on mentoring and discipline-specific guidance, building confidence at their own pace within a multidisciplinary team of therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and psychologists.

Key responsibilities

• Complete initial appointments and get to know new families
• Run fun, creative therapy sessions in the clinic and in the community
• Work closely with schools, families and other stakeholders
• Review therapy journeys and plan next steps as children reach goals or transition

Required profile

• Newly graduated or soon-to-graduate Occupational Therapist
• Curious, compassionate and people-focused, motivated to help children and families
• Confident communicator able to build strong connections with kids and families
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
