Occupational Therapist - Early Start Australia

About the role

Early Start Australia, part of the APM Group, is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its East Victoria Park clinic. You will join an allied health team supporting children and young people aged 0-16 and their families, working across clinic, home, school and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assessments and manage a caseload, including complex clients, using a case management approach
• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust tailored therapy programs aligned to client goals
• Deliver services in clinic, home, school and community settings, including group therapy and parent workshops
• Record treatment notes in PMS within 24 hours and provide reports to clients, families, health professionals and the NDIA
• Align therapy plans with available funding, obtain and review NDIS plans, and support correct invoicing
• Take part in team meetings, peer reviews and case discussions, and use professional development opportunities

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration and NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Current drivers' licence and vehicle
• Working with Children Check or state-specific Working with Vulnerable People registration, and National Police Check
• Accredited First Aid Certificate
