Nurse Unit Manager - Transition Care Service

About the role

Amplar Health, part of the Medibank Group, is recruiting a Nurse Unit Manager for its Transition Care Service based in Adelaide's CBD. The role leads a multidisciplinary team, drives clinical excellence and continuous improvement, and helps shape a sub-acute service that delivers patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inspiring leadership and support to a dedicated multidisciplinary team
• Champion safe, effective and evidence-based clinical practice
• Drive service excellence through quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities
• Oversee workforce planning, rostering, operational performance and budget management
• Build strong relationships with patients, families and healthcare stakeholders
• Foster a positive, inclusive and learning-focused culture
• Support the development of an innovative and evolving healthcare service

Required profile

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated leadership experience in acute and rehabilitation care settings
• Proven ability to mentor, coach and inspire multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence
• Current CPR certification
• A South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to provide evidence of current vaccinations if successful
