Nominated Supervisor - Full-Time

About the role

A well-established, 122-place early childhood education and care service rated Exceeding is seeking a full-time Nominated Supervisor. This is a senior leadership role for a confident, capable professional with proven experience in medium to large centre operations, strong regulatory knowledge and a passion for high-quality early learning and team development. The salary is $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational and educational leadership across a large, high-occupancy service
• Ensure full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and regulatory requirements
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of educators and leaders
• Drive continuous improvement to maintain and strengthen the Exceeding rating
• Build strong relationships with families, staff and external stakeholders
• Support a positive, professional and values-driven workplace culture
• Oversee staffing, rosters, compliance systems and daily centre operations

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Nominated Supervisor in a medium to large early childhood centre
• Minimum Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
• Current Working With Children Check
• Demonstrated leadership, staff management and performance development experience
• Strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and governance
• Highly regarded: experience in large-service management (100+ places), maintaining or achieving Exceeding ratings, financial, occupancy and operational management, and quality improvement systems
