Night Shift Processing Operator

About the role

Bega Group's Smithfield site in Western Sydney manufactures more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products, about 110 million litres per year, including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper. This permanent full-time night shift position is primarily based in the Mixing Room, covering juice mixing, ingredient preparation, processing operations and CIP activities. Candidates must also be flexible and ready to support Packing and other production areas. Availability is night shift 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Mix and supply juice to production and packing lines
• Operate processing equipment using JIX (SCADA)
• Conduct CIP and sanitation activities
• Perform product testing using laboratory equipment
• Work with Production and Reliability teams to meet production targets
• Comply with all Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements
• Support Packing and other areas, including forklift duties where licensed

Required profile

• Experience in food processing, mixing, manufacturing, packing or palletising is preferred
• Forklift licence required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Team player with a mechanically minded approach and good troubleshooting skills
• Flexible across Mixing and Packing operations
