Night Auditor

About the role

Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, a luxury hotel in Broadbeach with 296 rooms and suites, is looking for a Night Auditor. The role combines overnight front office operations with financial precision, ensuring seamless service and accurate handling of guest transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests personally and professionally, reflecting Sofitel's luxury service standards.
• Manage overnight front office operations, handling guest enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Complete nightly financial audits and end-of-shift cashiering, reconciling revenue, charges, payments and transactions.
• Maintain guest registration details, guest history, VIP flags, diary events and special requests.
• Coordinate wake-up calls, valet parking and express check-outs.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering and other departments for a smooth handover to the morning team.
• Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports on time.
• Uphold security protocols, protect guest valuables and confidential information, and report operational issues and safety hazards.
• Support VIP recognition and the Cousu Main service initiative.

Required profile

• Previous experience in front office, hotel reception, night auditing or a similar hospitality role.
• Ability to work independently overnight with sound judgement and calmness.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to confidentiality, security and health and safety.
• A luxury service mindset, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn within Sofitel and Accor.
• Full Australian working rights; flexibility to work according to the hotel's operational requirements.

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for financial reconciliations and accurate transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
