NDIS Support Coordinator (Maternity Leave, 12 Months)

About the role

Lifely, a regional disability service provider with more than 40 years' experience in Victoria, is looking for a full-time NDIS Support Coordinator to join its Bendigo office for 12 months. The role is based in the office and sits within the Support Coordination team. It is advertised as a maternity leave position.

Key responsibilities

• Help participants connect with resources and providers so they can choose and control their supports, leading to service agreements and outcomes.
• Accept or reject referrals from the NDIA in line with business rules, capacity and strategy.
• Maintain accurate records of participant contacts and support provided.
• Research providers and services in the local community.
• Keep client contracts, quotes and expenditure accurate and within budget, and submit costed proposals for events and activities.
• Submit interim and progress NDIS reports.
• Record daily tasks and times provided to participants on the ILMR database and NDIA portal for claiming and billing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the disability sector, or relevant qualifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication and record-keeping skills.
• Resolution and negotiation skills, dedication, time management and reliability.
• Experience liaising with external providers such as GPs and mainstream services.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and client management systems.

What we offer

• Pay starting at Level 4 of the SCHADS award, around $92,279 per year pro rata or $46.70 per hour.
